With Reuning and Sons Certificate stating the maker is Richard Duke, Sr. of London with a top by an Italian maker of the period. The dendrochronology report reveals that the top was felled in 1725 and statistically significant cross-matches include ring patters from instruments by Grancino, Testore, Lorenzini and Landolfi.
