It is difficult to surpass the capabilities of this cello in a moderate price range. The sonorities are rich, the playability free and responsive, and the price affordable. This cello is available in all sizes for $1150, and the smaller sizes are fully tradeable to us for the next larger instrument. These same cellos are also available on a rental basis.

The cellos from Eastman Strings are a great value and are very satisfying to play. They also are available in all sizes and are made from well seasoned wood that has a good stability. The more expensive cellos from Eastman feature the most highly figured wood, but the moderately priced models more than hold their own tonally.
